For women, breast cancer is the second most commonly diagnosed cancer (behind skin cancer) in the nation. In fact, one out of eight American women will develop breast cancer over the course of their lifetime. That’s why the conversation on breast cancer is front and center every October – Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Understanding breast cancer is important. The annual campaign to increase awareness, raise funds and educate people on detection, diagnosis and treatment begins today!
