From – and For – the Heart: HCA Healthcare and Sharecare Are Better Together

Over the last few years, Sharecare has been very fortunate to form an incredible partnership with HCA Healthcare, in which we work together to develop and implement a number of innovative digital health solutions aimed at enriching the patient-provider relationship – from an employee wellness pilot with HCA Virginia, to connecting HCA Healthcare physicians and nurses directly to people through our award-winning AskMD app, and helping introduce consumers to HCA Healthcare services. But our partnership is about much more than building new products or launching new technologies – we are guided by our shared passion to help all people become deeply engaged in their health without disrupting their daily routine. To do that effectively, you have to meet people where they are on their health journey – and in today’s digital age, it’s not uncommon for that meeting to happen on social media.
That’s why Sharecare regularly organizes and holds Twitter chats – think of them like virtual town halls focused on health – in which we gather leading health and wellness experts to educate the general public about a timely and relevant topic. HCA Healthcare is a valuable contributor in this effort, and several of its medical professionals are joining us this Thursday for our next free, online forum in support of American Heart Month and the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women initiative, a program near and dear to… well… my heart.
It’s an honor to be one of HCA Healthcare’s digital allies, and help the communities it serves get better care and truly know their health – inside and out, offline and online.
