Lead Well: Blake Medical Center COO Talks ACHE Congress, HCA Healthcare Recruitment
As the Chief Operating Officer at Blake Medical Center in HCA Healthcare’s West Florida Division, it’s a privilege to represent our organization as Governor on the Board of Governors for the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). ACHE is the preeminent professional society for healthcare executives dedicated to improving health and advancing their members and healthcare management excellence. ACHE’s annual congress on healthcare leadership, “Leading Well,” is taking place March 14-17 in Chicago, and HCA Healthcare wants to meet you in our Executive Recruitment Suite!
As the nation’s leading provider of healthcare services, HCA Healthcare is focused on finding and hiring leaders who will help provide our standard of service – above all else, commitment to the care and improvement of human life. So, our recruiters will be on site at the ACHE Congress on March 14-15 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and March 16 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the St. Gallen Conference Room at the Swissotel Chicago. They look forward to meeting with you to talk HCA Healthcare and the many executive opportunities available within our organization.
As a member of ACHE, we pride ourselves in offering opportunities such as these to help advance leadership in the evolving healthcare environment. I am fortunate enough to have been involved with this professional society for the past 25 years, specifically, since my graduation from the University of Michigan, and have been a benefactor of ACHE’s commitment to lifelong learning, leadership and diversity.
I have served in various leadership roles within ACHE at the local, regional and national levels, including Regent-At-Large, CEO Search Committee, Board of Governors Examination Committee Chairperson, Regent’s Advisory Council, and West Florida Chapter President. As a recipient of the ACHE Distinguished Service Award and Regent’s Award, my experience with this international professional society has been both personally and professionally rewarding and undoubtedly has helped me advance to where I am at HCA Healthcare’s Blake Medical Center today.
While this annual congress in Chicago allows healthcare leaders to meet, share ideas and raise the bar for how we work, deliver positive outcomes and inspire others to do the same, it’s ultimately up to you to seize those opportunities. The HCA Healthcare Executive Recruitment Suite is one opportunity you won’t want to miss – see you there!
