Happy Patient Experience Week!
In 2014, The Beryl Institute officially launched Patient Experience (PX) Week to celebrate healthcare staff making an impact on the patient’s experience every day. The annual celebration is an intentional recognition of the accomplishments of the people who work to deliver the care and support that patients deserve and expect.
At HCA Healthcare, everyone plays a role in ensuring that the patient receives the care and attention that not only meets their needs, but also exceeds their expectations.
Thank you to our physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, practice managers, patient care technicians, laboratory technicians, nutritional and dietary staff, environmental services, facilities management, administration, registration and executive professionals, patients, and families.
During this special weeklong observation, take the time to show your appreciation for the colleagues who work together, shoulder-to-shoulder, every day to deliver healthier tomorrows for patients everywhere. Raising the bar for patient care is the purpose that drives our more than 270,000 colleagues across HCA Healthcare. That work is important and it makes a difference!
As colleagues and caregivers, we strive to deliver everything from individualized patient health solutions to first-class, cutting-edge clinical research, all centered on the needs and preferences of our patients. We are committed to improving more lives in more ways, and we achieve this without forsaking the patients’ safety or dignity.
I applaud the work of all HCA Healthcare colleagues who endeavor to care for patients like family, challenging each other to own the patient’s experience.
Happy Patient Experience Week!
