Committed to Care – Regional Medical Center of San Jose

April 1 marks the beginning of Patient Experience Month at HCA Healthcare, a time to celebrate the 27 million exceptional care experiences we provided in 2016 while also reenergizing our commitment to put patients first in all that we do.

Today, patients have more choices for caregivers and facilities – and more tools to help them make those choices – than ever before. In this information-rich and rapidly changing healthcare landscape, providing high-quality care along with a positive patient experience is more important than ever before.

To help us celebrate the exceptional experiences happening every day at HCA Healthcare affiliates, we’re launching a new video series called, “Committed to Care.” Being committed to care is a reflection of HCA Healthcare’s mission – we are committed to the care and improvement of human life – and a calling that has shaped our company from its earliest days.

Our first Committed to Care video comes from the Regional Medical Center of San Jose, a level II Trauma Center in the San Francisco Bay area. Watch as Bev tells her story and reunites with two surgeons who saved her life – and her leg.
