At HCA Healthcare, we’re proud to support the communities where we live and work, and we do it in a big way. It’s part of who we are and what we are called to do – to learn, serve, give and lead through our Caring for the Community campaign.
This year’s theme is the “Power of 10,” and the idea is simple. Whether an HCA Healthcare employee gives $10, one volunteer hour, or 10 volunteer hours, together, we can make a positive impact in our community. And one way our employees are giving back with “Power of 10” is through Community Day!
This year will mark more than 17 years of our annual day of service, where corporate employees volunteer and connect with nonprofit organizations in Middle Tennessee. Over a two-day period – September 22 and 27 – 1,658 HCA Healthcare employees will volunteer at 113 local nonprofits in Nashville and the surrounding area.
We’re excited for the opportunity to serve our neighbors on this Community Day, and year-round. It’s not only what we do, it’s who we are.
I challenge you to use the “Power of 10” to give back in your communities, too. Together, we can all make a difference!
