Awards of Distinction logo

HCA Healthcare today presented the 2015 HCA Healthcare Awards of Distinction to recipients at a ceremony in Nashville. The HCA Healthcare Awards of Distinction include the Frist Humanitarian Award, the HCA Healthcare Innovators Award and the HCA Healthcare Excellence in Nursing Award, and are the highest honors that HCA Healthcare bestows on employees, physicians and volunteers. This is the first time the company has recognized all three HCA Healthcare Awards of Distinction categories in one celebration.

The Frist Humanitarian Award, the oldest award in HCA Healthcare history, recognizes the highest achievements in serving others; the HCA Healthcare Innovators Award, founded in 2010, recognizes creative new ideas for enhancing quality of care and efficiency; and the HCA Healthcare Excellence in Nursing Award, in its second year, recognizes accomplishments in the field of nursing.

These awards honor exceptional individuals whose work and lives reflect the patient-centered, entrepreneurial and humanitarian values upon which HCA Healthcare was founded.
